Patrice Sollenberger

Connecting Ministry

Patrice is currently responsible for  Rolling Hills Congregational Care and she works closely with our Deacon Ministry in connecting with our members.  She is in contact with our members who are in need of support especially during difficult health concerns.

Patrice also works closely with the other office staff at Rolling Hills.  She maintains the calendar for the church and prints the bulletins each week along with preparing the prayer list for the Staff and the Deacons.

She grew up in Paola, Kansas where she began her education with her father, Charles Molina as her first choir and band director and her mother, Joyce Molina as her voice teacher. She attended the University of Kansas and graduated with a Bachelor of Music Education with an emphasis in both instrumental and vocal music and a Master of Music in Choral Conducting.

Patrice was a choral music educator for 36 years, 21 of those years were at Shawnee Mission North High School as the Director of Choral Music. She has served as guest clinician for area honor choirs, and from 1995 to 2000, she was selected to perform with the Robert Shaw Festival Singers at Carnegie Hall. She was a member of the Kansas City Chorale from 1993 and is now serving that organization as Artistic Assistant. She is also Assistant Conductor of the Kansas City Symphony Chorus.
