Dr. Donna Hetrick
Director of Music and the Arts
Dr. Hetrick is Director of Music and the Arts at Rolling Hills Church. This includes the positions of chancel choir and bell choir director, organist, and leader of the praise band. She is the organ teacher at Bethel College in North Newton and the administrator of the Bethel College Organ Recital Series. She also teaches organ and piano students in Kansas City. Prior to moving to Kansas City, Dr. Hetrick was the Director of Music and Organist at Grace Presbyterian Church in Wichita, KS.
She graduated from Bethel College with a Bachelor of Arts in Music where she was a student of Dr. Shirley S. King and Dr. Karen Bauman Schlabaugh. She received her Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts in Church Music and Organ from the University of Kansas where she studied organ with Dr. James Higdon and church music and organ with Dr. Michael Bauer.
Donna is passionate about volunteer-based ministry that strives to provide moments of beauty in worship. She enjoys exploring how we can work together to praise our God through music and the arts. Donna lives with her husband, Bill, in Olathe, and they have two sons.
